La Fin

My shuttle comes in two hours to take me to the airport and I have almost sort of finished packing. I've spent my last week in Paris unexpectedly strapped in a leg brace after I wiped out on the slippery floor of my building last Sunday. On the bright side, I got to cut all the lines at Musée d'Orsay and Musée de l'Orangerie with my family, and my sister highly enjoyed the idea of pushing me around in a museum wheelchair:

In the words of Lady D, "Woof"
Either way, I actually managed to go to places I still hadn't been to yet in Paris (I know, I know, you didn't think there were any left)...

Top of the Arc de Triomphe. Luckily we went here the day before I gracefully slid across the floor, since the elevator was broken and we had to climb up the entire thing.

Fancy dinner cruise on the Seine hollaaaaa

Top of the Tour Montparnasse
Anyway, I have to finish packing and close my bank account (cutting up your credit card pulls at your heartstrings) and do other important things like eat lunch. There are no words in any language that can sum up the incredible time I have had in this city, how lucky I feel, how happy Paris makes me, how I can't wait to come back and see my French family again. I'll probably post again with the Giant List of Things to Eat in Paris since this is me we're talking about and I shall generously help all you tourists out with the best places to pack on the kilos. Okay, that's enough now. Don't want this getting too sentimental and all. Leaving is weird, y'all.

Until next time from New York...
x R.
